Owner Of Popular Norristown Eatery Dies

Michele Mashett-Cossey, who owned Eve's Lunch in Norristown with her family, died last week.

NORRISTOWN, PA — The owner of a popular eatery in Norristown has died.

Michele Mashett-Cossey, who owned Eve's Lunch with her family, was 58.

A resident of Plymouth Meeting, Cossey survived by her husband Frank Cossey, and her son Dillon Cossey, according to her obituary from Volpe Funeral Home.

Eve's Lunch, located on 320 E. Johnson Highway, features the renown native "zep" sandwiches and more. It's been in operation since 1965.

"We don't say we have the best sandwiches, our customers do," is their motto.

A memorial service for Cossey will be held on Monday, Sept. 23 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on 707 W. Germantown Pike in East Norriton.
