$325,000 Winning Ticket Sold in KOP

Lottery officials are looking for the winning Cash 5 ticket holder in Saturday's drawing. The ticket was sold at the King of Prussia Acme on DeKalb Pike.

Pennsylvania Lottery officials announced Monday that someone in our area may be holding a winning tickert worth $325,000.

The jackpot-winning Cash 5 ticket was sold at the Acme Market at 320 West DeKalb Pike in King of Prussia for the Saturday, April 20 drawing. It matched all five balls –04-05-09-12-23 – for a total jackpot of $325,000 (less the 25% federal withholding). ACME gets $500 for selling the winning ticket.

The prize hasn't been claimed yet, but the winner has one year from the drawing date to claim prize and have their ticket validated. Lottery officials encourage the winnner to sign the back of the ticket and call them at 717-702-8146.

The winner can also file a claim at any of the seven area Pa. Lottery offices or at their headquarters in Middletown. Claims can be filed Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at area offices and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Lottery at headquarters.

According to Pa. Lottery officials, more than $105.6 million in prizes to were paid out to winners in Montgomery County in the 2011-12 fiscal year and nearly $50.8 million went to programs serving the county's older residents.
