PA Virtual Interact Club Supports Toys for Tots

Students & Staff Come Together to Collect over 100 Toys for Local Families

King of Prussia, PA—December 7, 2018—On Friday, December 7th, members of PA Virtual’s Interact club turned out in force to support the local Toys for Tots campaign. Interact is a high school branch of Rotary International. Their mission is to support local, national and international causes and to engage in community service projects that places service to others as their guiding principle. PA Virtual’s Interact club is the first virtual Interact club in Pennsylvania.

Uniting students from across Pennsylvania to support a single effort can be a daunting challenge, but Interact Club president and senior Robert Putnick has found a way to ensure that all students in the club can participate. “Our club members created promotional flyers and videos to spread the word about our Toys for Tots campaign. They even created a music playlist and sent decorations via the mail,” Putnick said.

Ashton Lendzinski, PA Virtual senior and Interact club member, decided to reach out to her local community to help support the Toys for Tots campaign. “I was overwhelmed by the generosity of my community. The amount of donations almost brought me to tears.”
