“Ribstock” Revs Up For Biggest Event After Record-Breaking Year
The Bridgeport Ribhouse's Annual Charity Concert Supports Expressive Path, The Bridgeport Little League and Musicopia

The Bridgeport Ribhouse (1049 Ford Street, Bridgeport) is cooking up quite a treat for music lovers this Presidents’ Day Weekend as they host the largest “Ribstock” in its nine-year history. Kicking off at 1 PM, an hour earlier than previous years, on Sunday, February 17 the annual music event will feature its largest lineup to date in hopes of shattering last year’s record-breaking event.
According to Owner Melissa Navitsky, the 2018 “Ribstock” raised nearly $7,000 for the Bridgeport Little League and Norristown’s Expressive Path, a non-profit organization committed to enriching, educating, and inspiring adolescents by providing resources in the areas of theater, dance, music, humanities and the visual arts. Musical instruments were also donated to Musicopia, a local non-profit that works to build sustained partnerships with school districts throughout the region and is a leader in revitalizing in and after school music programs.
“The Bridgeport Ribhouse is thrilled to host this annual event, which continues to help strengthen our community through the universal language of peace and music,” said Melissa Navitsky, owner of the Bridgeport Ribhouse.
