SEPTA's Manayunk/Norristown Line Announces Service Changes
Various construction and improvement projects will impact timetables on the regional rail line.
NORRISTOWN, PA — SEPTA has announced an altered schedule for several of its regional rail lines, including Manayunk/Norristown, as various construction and improvement projects get underway in the coming weeks.
The new schedule went into effect on Sunday, Jan. 24. It includes nine trains heading inbound to center city on the weekends, and 17 on weekdays.
SEPTA says that some Manayunk/Norristown trains will be canceled, or will depart later or earlier than usual, due to a pair of projects.

One is the ongoing platform construction work at Conshohocken Station, where a new ADA-accessible station is being built. It will also include bike facilities, passenger waiting shelters, and additional parking.
Another is the Norristown Slope Stabilization Project on the stretch of the line between the Miquon and Spring Mill stops. The goal is to help prevent erosion and future washouts, especially after big storms, which often cause substantial delays.
