'Spring Into Learning and Fun' at Gotwals Elementary This Wednesday

Parents of children getting close to school age can learn about community resources and what to expect when your child starts kindergarten.

This Wednesday, parents and children who will soon be going to kindergarten will have a great chance to have fun and learn about their new adventure in the fall.

"Spring Into Learning and Fun" is a family event scheduled to be held at Gotwals Elementary School from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1. The event is sponsored by Norristown's Children’s Action Network (CAN) and is designed to let families of children close to school age learn about school and resources in the community.

Children will be invited to create a "Passport to Kindergarten" with a parent and get more information on what they can expect when class starts in September. Siblings not headed to kindergarten will be offered fun activities with parents and teachers.
