‘The Norristown Nutcracker’ and a ‘Baby Lap Rap’ This Week
A look at a few of the events this week in the Norristown area.

Monday: there will be a special Norristown Planning Commission meeting in council chambers in Norristown’s Municipal Hall at 7 p.m., to review several items.
Wednesday: the Montgomery County-Norristown Public Library will hold a ‘Baby Lap Rap’ where children ages 0-24 months can drop in at 10:30 a.m. with a caregiver for songs, fingerplays, rhymes and stories.
Wednesday: the Montgomery County-Norristown Public Library will host a webcast of “Uncovering the Hidden Job Market: Career Search Strategies using ReferenceUSA” to help job-searchers use ReferenceUSA. Pre-registration is required.

Friday/Saturday: the Norristown Nutcracker will be performed at the ACPPA Community Art Center, located in Norristown, which will treat the audience to different genres like hip hop and jazz. Starts 7 p.m. Tickets will be sold at $6 per person at the door.
