Third District Town Hall Meeting Scheduled for Thursday

Councilwoman Linda Christian has scheduled the next Third District town meeting for Thursday, may 9 at 6 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Montgomery County-Norristown Public Library at 1001 Powell Street.  

The meeting will feature updates on:

• The proposed Pennrose development project at DeKalb and Airy streets;
• Possible development planned for the Montgomery Hospital site; and
• The search for a new police chief and municipal manager.   

Norristown's Third District includes the neighborhoods between Harding Boulevard to Arch Street and Jacoby Street to Johnson Highway, but all Norristown residents are invited to attend the meeting.
