Here;s what you need to know about the Upper St. Clair races for school board and township commissioner.

UPPER ST. CLAIR, PA - With the Nov. 7 election rapidly approaching, here's what's at stake in Upper St. Clair and the Upper St. Clair School District:
UPPER ST. CLAIR COMMISSIONERS
Three seats are open. Republican Daniel Paoly is running unopposed for another term as at-large commissioner. In Ward 2, Republican incumbent Rex Walker, currently the board vice president, is being challenged by Cecilia Logan. In Ward 4, Republican Mark Christie is unopposed for another term.

UPPER ST. CLAIR SCHOOL BOARD
Four Democrats and an independent candidate are vying for four open seats. The Democratic candidates are incumbent Louis Malfrice, Jennifer Bowen, Daphna Gans and Dante Plutko. The independent candidate is Hermina KrishnaBachia.
