UPPER ST. CLAIR — Periodic single-lane closures will occur on Fort Couch Road between Washington Road in Upper St. Clair and Bethel Church Road in Bethel Park beginning July 9. The restrictions, which will occur between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m. on weekdays, are anticipated to last about a month.

According to Allegheny County's Public Works Department, the road needs base repairs, milling and paving, drainage and shoulder improvements and replacement of guide rail and pavement markings.

Drivers can expect to experience short stoppages in work zones, and flaggers will be used to control traffic.
