Man Admits Stealing $1.2 Million From Upper St. Clair Church
The thefts from the Westminster Presbyterian Church went undetected for seven years.

UPPER ST. CLAIR, PA - The former administrator at Westminster Presbyterian Church has admitted to stealing $1.2 million from the church between 2011 and 2018. David Reiter, 50, pleaded guilty to theft, receiving stolen property,forgery, access device fraud, tampering with records and unlawful use of a computer.
The money was spent on items such as vacations, pet supplies, sporting goods, baseball and concert tickets, musical instrument rentals, gasoline, car washes, Starbucks purchases, medical expenses and Sirius XM Radio.
Common Pleas Court Judge Jeffrey Manning ordered Reiter to repay the $1.2 million and set his sentencing date for Jan. 14.

Reither's wife, Connie Reiter, 44, is charged with two felony counts of receving stolen property. She is scheduled to go on trial in January.
