UPPER ST. CLAIR, PA - Recently retired Upper St. Clair Police Chief Douglas Burkholder was honored for his 42 years of service to the township with a proclamation by township commissioners.

While serving in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves, Burkholder began his police career as a Rostraver Township officer in 1973. "It is an honor to recognize Chief Douglas Burkholder for over four decades of service to the Township of Upper St. Clair,” township manager Matthew Serakowski said in a statement. “Doug has represented the community with utmost integrity and has earned the highest of praise from his peers with his straightforward, professional approach.
