Route 19 Lane Restriction In Place This Weekend

Work continues on the heavily traveled road.

UPPER ST. CLAIR, PA - Prepare for some traffic headaches this weekend. Northbound Route 19 in Upper St. Clair will have a lane restriction from 7 p.m. Friday until 6 a.m. Monday, according to PennDOT.

Crews will conduct concrete shoulder repair requiring a single-lane restriction between Washington County and McMurray Road. A single 10-foot wide lane will be maintained.

The work is part of the $5.55 million project to improve 2.5 miles of Route 19. Other work on the project includes concrete patching, shoulder epairs, base repairs, drainage and guide rail upgrades, ADA curb ramp improvements, signal updates, and sign and pavement marking installation.
