South Hills Village Black Friday Hours 2019

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA -Let the insanity begin. The holiday shopping season is upon us and it will get turbo-charged beginning with Black Friday as plenty of folks take advantage of deals on the Friday after Thanksgiving.

At South Hills Village, you can get started on your shopping as soon as you're done with your Thanksgiving turkey. The mall will be open from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m.

If you prefer to watch football and let your meal properly digest on Thanksgiving, Black Friday shopping begins at 6 a.m. and lasts until 9 p.m.

Consumers say they will spend an average of $1,047.83 this holiday season, up 4 percent from the $1,007.24 they said they would spend last year, according to the annual survey released by the National Retail Federation and Prosper Insights & Analytics. Shoppers between the ages of 35 and 44 plan to spend the most at $1,158.63.

“Consumers are in good financial shape and willing to spend a little more on gifts for the special people in their lives this holiday season,” NRF President and CEO Matthew Shay said. “Retailers are fully prepared to meet the needs of holiday shoppers looking for that perfect mix of sales, quality and selection.”
