South Hills Village Debuts Unique Nutrition Store

GNC has opened what it describes as an experiential nutrition store in South Hills Village that the company says offers several unique offerings enabling consumers to customize their wellness regimens.

The store’s offerings include:

• GNC Smoothie Lab: Customers can order healthy drinks, grab-and-go snacks and other prepared meals made with high-quality ingredients and top GNC products.
• Body Composition Analysis: Customers can step onto the InBody Body Composition Analyzer to gain insights on their health and find the right lifestyle solutions.
• Registered Dietitian Consultations: An in-house dietitian will be available to provide free consultations to help people develop a customized plan tailored to their specific health goals.

The store is the first of its kind among GNC locations but likely won’t be the last, company officials said.

“This store gives us an opportunity to learn from our consumers and get a better understanding of their engagement with specific concepts,” GNC CEO Ken Martindale, said in a statement. “We hope to leverage these insights to inform our retail strategy in other locations.”
