South Hills Village To Host Food Distribution Event

The event will provide much-needed food to 1,000 vehicles.

UPPER ST. CLAIR, PA - The township is teaming up to hold a large-scale, drive-thru food distribution event at South Hills Village. The event will occur Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is open to everyone.

There will be enough food to serve 1,000 vehicles. Three prepacked boxes of food will be distributed per vehicle.

The distribution will occur in the parking lots adjacent to the former Sears Automotive Center. All traffic should enter the mall parking lot via Village Drive at the traffic light next to the Port Authority parking garage. Directional signage will be posted to assist with traffic.

The food distribution event is a joint venture of the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, South Hills Interfaith Movement, Simon Properties, the township and Bethel Park.
