South Hills Village Macy's Gets Variety Of Upgrades

The department store chain believes the improvements will significantly enhance customer experience.

BETHEL PARK, PA - Three Pittsburgh-area Macy's stores are have received or are getting upgrades that the department store chain contends should enhance the customer experience and create a more vibrant shopping destination. The locations receiving renovations are at South Hills Village, the Mall at Robinson and Ross Park Mall.

The three stores are adding new LED lighting and updated flooring as well as renovated fitting rooms and restrooms. Additionally, certain departments have been relocated to improve space productivity and better suit customer traffic.

Product distortions were completed to increase breadth and depth of the assortment appealing to the customer demographic unique to each store. This includes an increased selection of diamonds and active wear at South Hills Village, a significant expansion of men’s tailored at the Mall at Robinson and an expanded shoe department at Ross Park Mall.

South Hills Village and Ross Park Mall also have added Taste Bar, a quick-service gourmet food and coffee bar, and the Macy's off-price concept Backstage. The Ross Park Mall location also debuted Story, a new narrative driven retail concept shop bringing to life an editorial approach to retail.

The Macy’s Personal Stylist service now available at South Hills Village and Ross Park Mall offers a curated experience tailored to each customer’s personal style, budget and need. Personal Stylists can also help customers select personalized gifts for friends and family for any occasion, including weddings and bridal parties.
