Upper St. Clair To Host Interactive Mental Illness Program
The program's purpose is to foster a better understanding of youths suffering from a mental illness diagnosis.

UPPER ST. CLAIR, PA - The National Alliance on Mental Illness will present the program “In Our Own Voice,” April 11 at 7 p.m. at the Community & Recreation Center at Boyce Mayview Park. Hosted by the Youth Steering Committee of Upper St. Clair, the event is free and open to the public.
The presentation is designed to provide audiences with firsthand accounts of what it’s like to be a youth living with a mental health diagnosis, according to the alliance’s website.
Alliance In Our Own Voice presentations include opportunities to have a dialogue with presenters to allow for a deeper understanding of mental health conditions, and to dispel stereotypes and misconceptions.
