Upper St. Clair Spring Shredding Event Set for Saturday

Document shredding and e-cycling will both be available in Upper St. Clair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 11.

JVS Environmental provides the document shredding just twice a year.

Here are the fees:

• $5 per box no larger than 11 x 17
• $8 per box no larger than 17 x 24
• $.16 per lb. bagged items

E-cycling will also be available on Saturday in the municipal building's parking lot near Clair's Kennel.

Township law requires the recycling of any equipment with an electrical cord. Electronics are not supposed to be collected curbside.

If you can't make Saturday's events, the next document shredding is scheduled for Oct. 12 and the next e-cycling will take place June 8.
