USC Community Center Staff To Public: 'We Miss You'

Center workers have made their feelings known by placing that message in the vacant building's windows.

UPPER ST. CLAIR, PA - The Community & Recreation Center at Boyce Mayview Park staff has a message for the South Hills: “We miss you.” The words are now spelled out in the empty building’s windows.

The center remains closed following Gov. Tom Wolf’s extension of the stay at home orders through April 30, 2020.

Center membership fees for the month of April will be waived for all active members. Room rentals at the center and McLaughlin Run Activity Center through April 30 are canceled and deposits will be refunded. All Department of Recreation & Leisure Services activities are also canceled through April 30.

Additionally, Upper St. Clair playgrounds and sports courts remain closed until further notice. This includes, but is not limited to, all playground equipment, tennis courts, basketball courts, etc. Trails are open, but residents are encouraged to practice social distancing and wash their hands before and after activity.
