Vaping To Be Addressed At USC Community Meeting
The township Youth Steering Committee is presenting the session.

UPPER ST. CLAIR, PA - The township's Youth Steering Committee will host a program on adolescents and vaping Jan. 10 at 7 p.m. at the Community and Recreation Center at Boyce Mayview Park. The program is free and open to the public.
The program topic was recommended to the committee by its high school student representatives. Presented by Upper St. Clair School District police staff, the event will feature information of how vapes are used and also focus on the school district's vaping policy.
Additionally, Gateway Rehabilitation community programs coordinator Tara Philips will provide information on vaping trends, dangers and signs for parents.

Appointed jointly by township commissioners and school board members, the Youth Steering Committee is composed of adult residents, student representatives and liaisons from the appointing bodies. The panel is designed to help provide positive direction to the community's youth and their families.
