Burrillville Man Performs On NBC's 'The Voice'

BURRILLVILLE, RI — A 29-year-old man Rhode Island man played his guitar and sang to a national audience Monday night as a contestant on NBC's "The Voice."
Jesse Desorcy of Burrillville performed "Dust on the Bottle" during the show's Blind Auditions round, and won praise from celebrity coach Kelly Clarkson and words of encouragement and advice from coaches Blake Shelton and Nick Jonas.
While Desorcy was not chosen for a team, he did say the experience was worthwhile.

Desorcy is legally blind due to a rare neurological condition. In Rhode Island, he's the lead singer and banjo player for the band Back Rhodes.
