RI Senators To Get Update On Zambarano Unit In Burrillville
HHS Sec. Womazetta Jones will deliver a presentation about the Eleanor Slater Hospital with its campuses in Burrillville and Cranston.

BURRILLVILLE — The fate of the Zambarano Unit of the Eleanor Slater Hospital will be on the agenda Monday when a Rhode Island Senate panel receives an update on the state hospital with its campuses in Burrillville and Cranston.
The Senate Committee on Rules, Government Ethics and Oversight will meet virtually via WebEx Monday, March 22 at 5:30 p.m. to receive an overview of the Eleanor Slater Hospital System. Womazetta Jones, Secretary of the Executive Office of Health and Human Services, will deliver a presentation. The committee is chaired by Sen. Louis P. DiPalma (D-Dist. 12, Middletown, Little Compton, Newport, Tiverton).

Written testimony must be submitted prior to 2 p.m. on Monday, March 22, for it to reach members of the committee on time and be included in the meeting records.
