Central Falls Man Arrested on Multiple Warrants

The Violent Fugitive Task Force and Central Falls Police Department on Friday arrested Samuel Kpanan and turned him over to Cranston Police.

CENTRAL FALLS, RI — Members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force and the Central Falls Police Department on Friday arrested a local man who was wanted by Cranston police.

Agents on Friday arrested Samuel Kpanan, age 31, of 1270 Broad Street, second floor, in Central Falls, Rhode Island State Police announced.

Kpanan was the subject of an arrest warrant from Cranston Police for violation of a no contact order. He was also the subject of four bench warrants out of Providence Superior Court. According to state police, Kpanan failed to appear in court for a breaking and entering charge; a domestic breaking and entering charge; a charge of possession with intent to deliver; and a firearms possession charge.

Kpanan was processed at the Rhode Island State Police Lincoln Barracks and turned over to the Cranston Police Department.
