Central Falls Man Drove Drunk Without License: RISP

CENTRAL FALLS, RI — A Central Falls man with a history of motor vehicle violations was arrested by Rhode Island State Police following a Sunday evening traffic stop on Rand Street.

Kenneth Benton, 63, of 101 Sylvian Street, allegedly drove while drunk on a suspended license with a child in the car, state police reported. He was booked and held overnight as a probation violator following his 5:30 p.m. arrest on March 21.

Benton is also accused of presenting false registration documents to police. Police say it’s his fifth offense for driving on a suspended license.
