CRMC To Host Webinar On Social Justice And Shoreline Access In RI
The Rhode Island Coastal Resources Management Council is working to identify public rights-of-way to the shore.

CHARLESTOWN, RI — The Coastal Resources Management Council is working to identify and publicize public rights-of-way to the shore, and the agency is also looking at broader issues of public access to the ocean in the Ocean State.
The CRMC last month hosted a well-attended "Shoreline Public Access 101" webinar on where they described the basic issues concerning public access to the shoreline in Rhode Island.
Now the agency plans a second webinar where issues of environmental justice and shoreline access will be discussed. The online event is set for Wednesday, June 30 at 5 p.m., and interested parties are encouraged to register ahead of time.
