Scituate Woman Describes Being Shot In NYC's Times Square
23-year-old Wendy Magrinat was shopping with her husband and toddler when she was shot in the leg. The NYPD has posted video of a suspect.

A Mother's Day weekend in New York City turned into a nightmare for a Rhode Island woman after she was caught in the path of gunfire and took a bullet.
23-year-old Wendy Magrinat of Scituate was one of three innocent bystanders shot in Times Square late Saturday afternoon. New York police said shots were fired during a dispute between a group of men.

Magrinat was bleeding heavily and called 911 on her own cell phone. “I really thought I was going to die," the young mother told WLNE-TV. "I saw a police officer, and I screamed saying 'I’m shot, I have a two-year-old, I don’t want to die.'"
Magrinat told WPRI-TV that she was shopping with her two-year-old child and husband when she was shot in the leg. She was rushed to the hospital and is now recovering at home.

Also shot were a 4-year-old girl from Brooklyn and a 43-year-old woman from New Jersey. The victims are expected to recover.

The New York City Police posted video of a suspect and have asked the public for help in identifying him.
