Bryant's Plans To Accept International Students Back To Campus
Students arriving from outside of the United States will be required to complete a 14-day quarantine before joining campus activities.
SMITHFIELD, RI — Bryant University international students will be required to quarantine for 14 days before resuming campus activities as part of a plan to bring students back to campus for in-classroom learning amid the coronavirus crisis this fall.
International students will be welcomed back to campus as early as Aug. 2 to begin their self-quarantine. Domestic students will also be required to quarantine if they are coming from any area of the country with a stay-at-home order, or an area that is experiencing a surge in coronavirus cases.
New international students can arrive on campus between Aug. 2 and Aug. 5, with Aug. 9 the return date for all students who must quarantine before classes begin.

Students not required to quarantine may return to campus on Aug. 19.
Bryant officials said students required to quarantine on campus will be assigned a temporary quarantine room for 14 days before moving into their fall housing. Bryant is preparing plans for food delivery, and health and safety measures, pending the approval of the school's reopening plan by the RI Department of Health.

The school will maintain quarantine residences for students with a delayed arrival due to travel restrictions from their home country.
Students who arrive internationally for the fall semester will be allowed to stay on campus through the between-semester break if they intend to take classes in the winter semester.
International students may take classes remotely this fall if they cannot travel to RI, but tuition will remain the same whether classes are taken in person or remotely.
