Coronavirus: Smithfield Offering Grab-And-Go Meals
Smithfield began making lunch and breakfast available at the Old County School for those 18 years and younger starting on Tuesday.
SMITHFIELD, RI — Smithfield has begun offering grab-and-go breakfast and lunch pickup at the Old County Road School for those 18 years and younger in need during the new coronavirus health emergency. Lunches and breakfasts are available from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Under this program, parents will be able to pick up items for children who are not with them at the time of the pickup. On Fridays, breakfasts and lunches will be available for the weekend as well.
Meals will be prepared and distributed by staff from the district's food service provider, Chartwells, and these staff will be required to wear a mask and gloves. Smithfield Public Schools strongly encourage those coming to pick up meals wear face coverings.

Residents are asked to pull up to the front of the building where trunks and hatchbacks can be popped to deliver contact-less delivery.
