Ducking Traffic: RI State Police Help Duck In High Speed Lane
A duck in the high speed lane on Interstate-95 caught a lift from state police on Wednesday.

SCITUATE, RI — A duck in the high speed lane on Interstate-95 caught a lift from state police on Wednesday. Police said a motorist called to report the duck was in the high speed breakdown lane in Lincoln. Troopers rescued the duck and gave it to the state Department of Environmental Management to be relocated.
No harm, no fowl - the Lincoln Barracks received a call Tuesday about a duck in the high-speed breakdown lane on I-95. Troopers were able to track down and rescue the disoriented duck, which they turned over to the @RhodeIslandDEM for release far away from any highways. pic.twitter.com/K8NIryMOVb
