Moses Brown has hired a familiar face, Leslie Caito-Jones of North Smithfield, as the school's athletic program and office coordinator.

SMITHFIELD, RI -- Leslie Caito-Jones, the Quakers' veteran field hockey coach, is joining the staff at Moses Brown School. The North Smithfield resident has been hired as athletic program and office coordinator.

"Many know Caito-Jones from her 17-year career as MB's head field hockey coach," said Kristen Curry, school spokeswoman.

Under her tenure, Moses Brown has collected six state titles and "countless division championships," she said.

And that string of victories may be continuing because Caito-Jones will still be coaching.

"She’s been busy this fall, adding the new job responsibilities to her coaching schedule – but it doesn’t seem to be hampering the Quakers’ field hockey success," Curry said. "The girls’ varsity team boasts a 7-1-1 record to date this fall. Their season concludes October 20 with upcoming home games at MB’s Campanella Field on October 7, 15, 17, and 18."

Caito-Jones was named Rhode Island Coach of the Year in 2013.

"She also is program director for Allegiance Field Hockey," Curry said and was "an All-American field hockey player at the University of Rhode Island."

She started playing field hockey at age 4 and still competes, Curry said.
