Navigant Credit Union President Gary Furtado Receives Honorary Degree from Bryant University

Navigant Credit Union President and CEO Gary E. Furtado delivered the keynote address and received an honorary degree at Bryant University’s graduate program commencement ceremony on Thursday, May 18.
Furtado, who received both his undergraduate and MBA degrees from Bryant, spoke to 125 graduate degree candidates from Bryant’s College of Business and College of Arts & Sciences at the ceremony. Furtado has served as Navigant Credit Union’s President and CEO since 1987.
“My time at Bryant prepared me for the professional world in countless ways, and it was a great honor to return to my alma mater to meet such an impressive group of students,” Furtado said. “I have no doubts that this year’s class of graduates will go on to enjoy great success, helping to continue to drive Rhode Island’s business community forward.”
