Northern Rhode Island Board of REALTORS® Announces Scholarship Recipients for 2019

The Northern Rhode Island Board of REALTORS® has awarded scholarships to High School Seniors Vanessa Sanchez of William M. Davies Jr. Career and Technical High School in Lincoln, and Amara D’Antuono of Burrillville High School, each in the amount of $1,000. The Scholarship Task Force, along with the Board of Directors, presented the awards to Ms. Sanchez and Ms. D’Antuono on April 18, 2019.

“The candidates were really outstanding this year and we had a very competitive pool of qualified and talented students”, stated Ms. Debby Smith, Task Force Chair. “The Northern RI Board of REALTORS® was pleased to offer Ms. Sanchez and Ms. D’Antuono our 2019 scholarship award in the amount of $1,000 each. We wish them both much success in their future academic pursuits!”

Each year the local REALTOR® organization, located in Cumberland, RI, provides two scholarships to students in the Northern Rhode Island area. The money is raised by donations from the REALTOR® membership. Information and criteria may be found on the Board’s website at www.nribr.realtor each January.
