Northern Rhode Island Board of REALTORS® Announces Scholarship Recipients for 2020

The Northern Rhode Island Board of REALTORS® has awarded scholarships to High School Seniors Bahjat Khoury of Cumberland High School and Karan Shah of Lincoln High School, in the amount of $1,000 each.
“We received a record number of applicants and had a very competitive pool of qualified and talented students”, stated Mr. David Serpa, Task Force Chair. “This is the 40th anniversary of the Northern Rhode Island Board of REALTORS® Scholarship Program. The Board was pleased to offer Mr. Khoury and Mr. Shah our 2020 scholarship awards and wish them both much success in their future academic pursuits.”
The Northern Rhode Island Board of REALTORS® is dedicated to giving back to the communities it serves. The scholarship program is supported by donations made by the Board’s 600 REALTOR®, Appraiser and Industry Partners throughout Central Falls, Cumberland, Lincoln, North Smithfield, Pawtucket and Woonsocket. The application and guidelines are posted on www.nribr.realtor each January.
