Obituary: John "Kabib" Kibarian, 93

John "Kabib" Kibarian, 93, of Smithfield passed away peacefully March 8, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Anna (Surabian) Kibarian. Born in Providence a son of the late Simon and Yakout (Mikaelian) Kibarian.

Mr. Kibarian and his wife owned and operated Anne Kaye Fabrics. He was also an acclaimed carpenter.

Besides his wife he is survived by four children; Sally Kibarian Garabedian and husband Charles "Harpo" Garabedian, Arlene Kibarian Hatch and husband Kenneth Hatch, Robert S. Kibarian and fiancée Chrissy Curry, Kimi Kibarian Fowler and husband James Fowler CAPT USN and one grandson, Charles N. Garabedian. He was the brother of Barkev Kibarian, Hovhanes Kibarian and the late Anne Nahigian and Sarkis Kibarian.

His funeral is Monday at 8:45 a.m. from "WOODLAWN" Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Avenue, Cranston with a Funeral Service at 10 a.m. in St. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church 402 Broadway, Providence. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground. VISITATION Sunday 2-5 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home.
