Peter Dufresne installed as 2018 President of the Northern Rhode Island Board of REALTORS

Local REALTOR installed as President of business group

REALTOR® Peter Dufresne, of Spectrum Real Estate Consultants of Keller Williams Leading Edge in Lincoln, was installed as the 2018 President of the Northern Rhode Island Board of REALTORS® on September 21, 2017 at the Kirkbrae Country Club in Lincoln, RI.

Mr. Dufresne has been a member of the REALTOR® Association for 11 years. He has held the positions of President-Elect, Treasurer and Corporate Secretary of Northern Rhode Island Board of REALTORS® and has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2014. He currently serves on the Board’s Executive, Finance, Nominating and Shared Services Committees and previously served on its Charitable Works and Program Committees.

He serves on the Board of Directors of the RI Association of REALTORS® and is an active Board member of Rhode Island’s YPN (Young Professionals Network) and the REALTOR® Political Action Committee.

Additionally, the Board installed the following 2018 Officers:
- Michael Lambrese of RE/MAX Town & Country in Cumberland as President-Elect
- Christopher Whitten of Premeer Real Estate in Johnston as Treasurer
- Robert Williamson of Residential Properties of Cumberland as Corporate Secretary

The Board also installed the following Directors: Monalisa Aguiar of Reliable Realty in Cumberland; Garrett Mancieri of Gateway Realty in Woonsocket; Mary Ellen Rose of Fontaine Real Estate in Woonsocket; Brendon Duckworth of Keller Williams NRI in Lincoln; Alexander Parmenidez of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Warwick; Arianne Tanasio of Tanasio Realty Advisors in Lincoln; David Serpa of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Cumberland.

At the Annual Meeting, Duane Boucher, of Boucher Real Estate in Woonsocket, was recognized as the Board’s 2017 REALTOR® of the Year. And the Golden R Award was presented to Dave Serpa of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Cumberland. This award is presented to a REALTOR® member who has consistently demonstrated dedicated service and support over the years and is regularly engaged in Board meetings.


The Northern Rhode Island Board of REALTORS® is a chartered member Board of the National Association of REALTORS®. It was established in 1921 and serves over 500 REALTORS®, Appraisers and Affiliate members throughout the Northern Rhode Island area. Its mission is to provide its members with the tools and support needed to support their success.
