Smithfield DPW Open For Influx Of Cardboard Packaging
Smithfield DPW is accepting carboard for recycling on Spragueville Road.
SMITHFIELD, RI — Smithfield Public Works has opened its recycling center for all those cardboard boxes that have accumulated through deliveries while retail stores were closed, or limited, over the past two months.
Rather than make residents cut up the oversized boxes to fit inside curbside recycling containers, flattened cardboard that is under 4.5 feet in length can be brought to 3 Spraugueville Road for recycling from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The cardboard recycling container is located on the right side of the lot next to the Oil Igloo (grey shed).
