Smithfield Fire Station Open House To Offer Free Pizza

SMITHFIELD, RI — Free pizza and activities are in store at the upcoming Fire Department open house scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 5. The event will feature fire truck and equipment displays, demonstrations, a bouncy house, free pizza and more.

Adults and children alike will be welcome to learn about fire safety while enjoying the free activities. Demonstrations in firefighting equipment will be part of the event.

The open house is sponsored by the Smithfield Fire Department, Home Depot and Papa Gino's. It's happening at the Smithfield fire station located at 607 Putnam Pike, from noon to 4 p.m. on Oct. 5.
