Here's what you need to know about the Fourth of July fireworks in Smithfield.
SMITHFIELD, RI — Smithfield's Independence Day party is set for July 2 at Bryant University's Bulldog Stadium, 1150 Douglas Pike. Bring lawn chairs and blankets. But pets are not allowed. No fireworks, firecrackers, or sparklers, drones, grills or alcoholic beverages are allowed, either. The campus opens at 6 p.m. The U.S. Navy Band performs at 8 p.m. Then the fireworks start at 9 p.m.
