Smithfield Sisters Charged With Robbery Involving Shotgun: Police
Smithfield police said Kendra Bianco, 21, pulled the shotgun on a Warwick man after the sisters lured him to their apartment on Saturday.
SMITHFIELD, RI — Two Smithfield sisters were charged with first degree robbery and conspiracy after Smithfield police said a Warwick man accused them of luring him back to their Douglas Pike apartment and attempting to rob him on Saturday.
Police said Kellielyn Bianco, 21, was charged with robbery and conspiracy, and Kendra Bianco, 19, was charged with robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a firearm while committing a crime of violence and conspiracy after Kendra Bianco was accused of pulling a shotgun on a man they were attempting to rob.
Police said they were called to the apartment for a domestic disturbance Saturday morning and were greeted in the parking lot by a man with a shotgun who said he wrestled it away from Kendra Bianco during a struggle after she had pulled it out of a closet.

The man said he met Kellielyn Bianco while walking on Douglas Pike and agreed to go back to her apartment to meet with her sister. While there, the man told police that Kendra Bianco distracted him while Kellielyn Bianco attempted to steal from him. He told police that when confronted the sisters and said he was going to call the police, Kendra Bianco pulled the shotgun from the closet and pointed it at him.
He told police that he was able to wrestle the gun away from Kendra Bianco, but it went off and a bullet struck the kitchen wall.

Police said they found the women in the nearby woods.
The were held without over the weekend. On Monday, Kendra Bianco was given a $5,000 bail with surety, while Kellielyn Bianco was held without bail.
