The drive-throughs are hosted by the USVI Little Free Library Initiative (LFL), in partnership with the Community Foundation of the Virgin Islands (CFVI) and the USVI Department of Tourism. The COVID-19 pandemic has limited access to the physical Little Free Library units throughout the territory, so the LFL team decided to bring the books to the people.
