The electrical disruption affected both islands starting at approximately 7 p.m.

ST. THOMAS, USVI — Homes across St. Thomas and St. John lost power for several hours on Sunday night. According to The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority, electrical service was interrupted by a loss of generation capacity at the Randolph Harley Power Plant.
