A Rallying Cry For The Victims of La Soufrière Volcano
Governor Bryan and USVI Department of Tourism are encouraging USVI resident to donate supplies and funds.
U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS —The Office of the Governor and the Department of Tourism are encouraging residents to donate supplies and funds for the people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Donated items will benefit the more than 20,000 residents who have been displaced by eruptions from La Soufrière volcano. Most of the displaced residents are currently in shelters.

Multiple USVI government entities, including the Virgin Islands Port Authority (VIPA) and the Virgin Islands Fire Service, local companies, community organizations and individuals are donating their services. MARCO Trucking (St. Croix), The Westin St. John Resort Villas, and Grade All Heavy Equipment, Inc. (St. Thomas) have committed time and resources. Tropical Shipping is shipping containers full of donated items at no cost.
