Registration Open For Free USVI Storm Strong Summer Camp
A virtual summer camp for USVI middle school students focused on hurricane hazard preparedness and leadership using interactive at-home kits

U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS — Send your middle school student to the USVI Storm Strong Program and they might become the hurricane-expert of the house.
Storm Strong is a week-long summer camp designed to teach middle school students about climate change and storm preparedness.
The program is hosted by the University of the Virgin Islands and it is totally free to participants.

Storm Strong 2021 will be online and students will receive at-home learning kits. They will attend one-hour zoom sessions Monday through Thursday and can attend an optional in-person graduation ceremony on Friday.

Registration is open for students in grades 6-8 and families can choose between three week-long sessions, June 14-18, July 12-16 and August 2-6.
UVI is also looking for high school students and college undergraduates who can help with the virtual sessions. All positions are paid.
