Report of Explosive Device At HERA On Thursday
Police received word of an explosive device at Henry E. Rohlsen Airport on St. Croix on Thursday.

U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS —An explosive device threat was reported at Henry E. Rohlsen Airport on St. Croix on Thursday, June 3. According to the Virgin Island Port Authority, airport operations were temporarily disrupted while police investigated.
VIPA Executive Director Carlton Dowe stated that around 12:10 p.m. on June 3, the VIPA's Police Division received a report of an explosive device threat. Officers immediately investigated the threat, which was also shared with all local and federal law enforcement agencies. The incident is still under investigation.
Other than some delays in passenger processing, airport operations were not disrupted and the airport remains open. Travelers are advised to contact their airline directly for updates regarding flight schedules at the Rohlsen Airport.
