St. Croix Coastal Zone Management Meeting

Management will decide on the National Park Service's proposal to rehab the Contact Station in the Salt River Bay National Historical Park.

ST. CROIX, USVI — The Department of Planning and Natural Resources is holding the St. Croix Coastal Zone Management (CZM) Committee Decision Meeting Thursday, June 22, 2021, at 4:00 pm.

DPNR Commissioner Jean-Pierre L. Orio released the agenda, which focuses on the National Park Service's proposal to rehabilitate the Contact Station, within its existing foundation footprint with repairs and alterations to the existing building to meet current code requirements. The project site is located in the Salt River Bay National Historical Park & Ecological Preserve Contact Station Plot Nos.26, 27, 28, 34, 35, 36 and 27 Estate Salt River, Christiansted, St. Croix.

The public is welcome to join the meeting. Please note, however, that this is a Decision Meeting, therefore, public testimony will not be heard.
