Turn Earth Day Into Earth Weekend With These Events
Keep the momentum going with these fun and family-friendly Earth Day events.
U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS — We should probably celebrate Earth Day every day but if that sounds like a big commitment, consider at least making it a weekend-affair. Here are two earth-friendly events happening in the territories.
Seed and Plant Exchange on Saturday April 24 at Tillet Gardens, STT. Hosted by Gardening on the Rock. Bring your seeds and prep your plants. And check out an array of local vendors while you're there. Proceeds benefit the Virgin Islands Children's Museum. More info can be found here.
Get Trashed Earth Day Celebration on Saturday April 24 on St. John. Friends of the Virgin Islands National Park is hosting a trash clean-up at two locations. Meet at 9 a.m. at the National Park visitors center in Cruz Bay or meet at John's Folly Institute in Coral Bay. Trash bags and gloves provided, BYOM (Bring Your Own Mask). More info here.
