Both associate degrees are two-year programs. Students pursuing Horticulture will study propagation, production, and managing plants. The coursework will include fieldwork to prepare students for jobs in horticulture. The Associate of Applied Science degree in Agroecology is a two-year interdisciplinary program that will investigate the science and social impact of agroecology in the tropics. Agroecology is the study of how processes in nature and interactions between plants, animals, humans, and the environment can be applied to farming.
