I am a veteran editor, having worked at The Detroit News (twice) for a total of 17 years before joining Patch. I also was the managing editor for iCan.com, a startup website for people with disabilities, and the U.S. PR director for PRISM, working with clients such as Ford Motor Co., DuPont Automotive, Shell and Ferrari.

I grew up in the Rosedale Park neighborhood in northwest Detroit and have lived in Royal Oak for 21 years with my husband and two boys, where we enjoy great neighbors, a lively downtown and top-notch schools.
