Very happy to be a South Orange Patch Mayor without the benefits and headaches of the REAL South Orange Mayor or as we call our Mayor the Village President who is currently Sheena Collum (https://www.southorange.org/315/Village-President). However I am Gregory Burrus, Your Live Music Ambassador and I invite you to stay tuned as there is so much more to come in an area I love to report on live music, art and community happenings.
Gregory Burrus is a supporter of local businesses, community events, jazz, blues musicians and local art exhibitions. Gregory Burrus is the manager of South Orange NJ Downtown After Sundown Live Music Concerts, South Orange Performing Arts Center (SOPAC) Playing Pianos Around South Orange, NJ and is the founder, curator of South Orange 24 Hours of Music and the South Orange Farmers Market Jazz Jam.
Gregory Burrus also curates live music events at in the Jazz973 at Clements Place Jazz Series for the Rutgers Institute of Jazz Studies.
Gregory is also a promoter, curator for Maplewood 4th of July Live Music, is a Board Member of Maplewood Community Music along with booking, promoting and curating many other live music events around the greater New York, New Jersey area.
Gregory Burrus reports on local community events and other areas of local interest across the surrounding towns.
